EDMONTON – The Edmonton Elks announced Thursday the signing of National defensive back Bruno Lagacé.
A seventh round pick by the Elks in the 2023 CFL draft, Lagacé returned to the Montreal Carabins for the 2023 season, helping them capture the 58th Vanier Cup this past weekend. The Boucherville, QC., native appeared in 35 career games for Montreal, where he had 90 total tackles, five interceptions, four tackles for loss and two fumble recoveries. He was named a RSEQ Defensive All-Star in 2023 and 2021 as well as U Sports Second Team All-Star in 2021.

The Edmonton Elks will return to the field in 2024 for the club’s 75th CFL season.
