TRANSACTIONS | EE signs Bundage; releases Mitchell

The Edmonton Elks have signed American defensive lineman Calvin Bundage, the club announced Thursday.

Bundage most recently played for the Massachusetts Pirates of the Indoor Football League in 2023, recording 33 total tackles and one interception in four games.

The Oklahoma product signed with the BC Lions in 2022 before being released during training camp and had a brief pre-season stint with the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2021.

Collegiately, Bundage played four seasons of NCAA Division 1 football at Oklahoma State University, where he had career totals of 148 total tackles, 11.5 sacks, and one pass knockdown in 46 games for the Cowboys. Bundage was named honorable mention All-Big 12 by the coaches in 2018 and 2020.

Additionally, the Elks have released Antonio Mitchell (DB).

The Elks will return to action against the Calgary Stampeders at Commonwealth Stadium on Sept. 9 at 5:00 p.m. MT.
