Fans attending the game are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items or monetary donations for Edmonton’s Food Bank. Food Bank trucks will be located at Gates 2, 6, 9 and 13. The Grey Cup will be at Gate 9, where fans can take photos with the greatest prize in Canadian football.

All donations help Edmonton’s Food Bank make a difference in the community. With rising inflation and the cost of food, Edmonton’s Food Bank continues to see demand grow. Edmonton’s Food Bank provides food for more than 30,000 people each month.

Since the 1980s, the Green and Gold held a drive each year in support of Edmonton’s Food Bank. This year marks 20 for the Purolator Tackle Hunger program, which originated with the Green and Gold.

Star Green and Gold receivers Manny Arceneaux and Eugene Lewis along with Elks staff and Cheer Team members kicked off this year’s Purolator Tackle Hunger drive last week, visiting the Food Bank’s main warehouse at 11508 120 St. to help build food hampers.
