The Edmonton Elks have signed Global offensive lineman Toby Lettman to the practice roster, the club announced Saturday.

A native of Surrey, England, Lettman is coming off two seasons in the European League of Football (ELF). He won the 2022 ELF championship as a member of the Vienna Vikings before joining the Tirol Raiders this year.

The 28-year-old played collegiately in the United States, where he attended Saddleback College (2016-17), Texas Christian University (2017-18) and Missouri Southern State University (2018-19). He also spent a season with the Frisco Fighters of the Indoor Football League (2022) and began his professional career with the Potsdam Royals of the German Football League (2021).

Following their first win of the season against the Hamilton Tiger-Cats at Tim Hortons Field on Thursday, the Elks will return to action against the Ottawa Red Blacks at Commonwealth Stadium on Aug. 27 at 5:00 p.m. MT.
