Whyte tied the previous record of 22 set by Sean Fleming in 2001 on June 30 against his former club, the Montreal Alouettes.
In 2011, Whyte set a Montreal Alouettes’s record for most consecutive field goals made with 24, breaking the previous record of 21 set by Don Stewart in 1976.
