The Edmonton Eskimos took the Grey Cup on a very important visit Friday afternoon.
It went to a place the organization has already visited 23 times this season, but none more important than this time as the 103rd Grey Cup Champions took the tophy to meet with the true champions of the Stollery Children’s Hospital.
The children got their own personal meet and greet with the Grey Cup and Eskimos quarterback Mike Reilly, receiver Derel Walker and kicker Grant Shaw. The players visited with kids in “The Beach” general play area and also extended their visit with some bed side visits of children unable to leave their rooms during the stay.
