Wow what a game! We had an amazing day cheering on the Eskimos to their Labour Day victory Monday! And a great battle of Alberta has resurfaced! Despite the rivalry between our teams, the day was an incredible bonding experience for our cheer team and the Outriders cheer team. We engaged in our annual Labour Day calendar exchange where the Outriders Cheer Team give us their calendars and we give them ours in return. Which means…
The 2012 Edmonton Eskimo Cheer Team calendar has arrived and it is fabulous! We are going to be officially unveiling them on Friday at the rematch. Look for us in the stands to get your own calendar for just $10! The concept of the 2012 calendar is very leading-edge and unique so this is one that you won’t want to miss! Some of the girls travelled to Jasper and got some amazing shots.
As a rookie, this was my first calendar shoot and it was such a great experience. Each of us got the opportunity to spend the day with our incredibly talented photographer Bill Meachem from Artistic Creations. It was a lot of fun getting to try new poses and concepts and getting to work with such an innovative team. Each page has a very different style and it was really exciting to see how all of our ideas came together into one cohesive calendar. The end result is stunning!
I am so excited to share our calendar with all of our fans on Friday. I have to say that one of my favorite parts about being on the team this season has been getting to interact with all of the Eskimo fans. The amount of dedication and support that they bring is so inspiring and I can’t wait to head out into the stands at halftime on Friday to meet them all!
It’s going to be another big game on Friday and I hope to see all our fans out there. Here’s hoping for another big win. Let’s Go Eskimos!
