Edmonton finished third in the Western Division and earned a West Semi-Final playoff date with Winnipeg where they defeated the Blue Bombers 39–32. Up next in the West Final against the Stampeders, the Eskimos came out on the wrong side, losing 32-28.
Quarterback Mike Reilly led the CFL in passing yards, amassing 5,830 yards, 30 touchdowns and 12 rushing touchdowns. Reilly set a club record for passing yards (5,830) and total touchdowns (42) on his way to earning the CFL’s Most Outstanding Player Award.
Receiver Brandon Zylstra led the CFL in receiving (1,687) while only playing in 16 games.
Receiver Adarius Bowman won the Tom Pate Memorial award for his contribution to the community, club, and association for his work during the 2017 season.
