The Double E finish with a 4-14 season and out of the playoffs. Slotback Fred Stamps led the league in receiving yards with 1,256 on 68 catches and records his fifth straight season with 1000+ yards receiving.

In his first season with the club, quarterback Mike Reilly threw for 4,207 yards and 24 touchdowns, while leading the team in rushing with 709 yards.

In November, Kavis Reed is relieved of his duties as head coach and later replaced by Chris Jones.

Bryan Fryer is inducted into the Canadian Football Hall of Fame.
