2008 Edmonton Eskimos
The Double E finish fourth in the West Division with a record of 10-8 and become the first team to win a crossover playoff game, defeating the Winnipeg Blue Bombers 29-21. They would go on to lose to the Montreal Alouettes 36-26 in the East Final.
Ricky Ray eclipses Warren Moon in career touchdown passes (145) and passing yards in a season (5,648). Ray would also set a CFL single-game record with a 92%completion rate, going 23-for-25 for 302 yards and two touchdowns in the final game of the season.
Defensive back Jason Goss ties the club record for interceptions returned for a touchdown in game with two and total interceptions in game with three. Goss has the second most interception return yards in a game (144) in CFL history.
Receiver Kamau Petersen wins the CFL’s Most Outstanding Canadian award.
Chris Morris is added to the Wall of Honour and Mike Pringle is inducted into the Canadian Football Hall of Fame.
