The club would miss the playoffs for the first time in 35 years, after finishing fourth in the West with a record of 7-11. Quarterback Ricky Ray led the CFL in passing yards with 5,000, while Jason Tucker had 1,321 receiving yards and Troy Davis rushed for a team best 1,060 yards. Robert Brown finished with 12 sacks.
