Running back Mike Pringle passes George Reed to become the CFL’s all-time leading rusher.
Jason Maas becomes the second player in the club’s history to pass for over 5,000 yards (5270). Maas also sets a new single game CFL record with 22 consecutive completions.
Edmonton would lose to the Saskatchewan Roughriders in the West Semifinal after finishing second in the West with a 9-9 record in the regular season.
Willie Pless is added to the Wall of Honour and Larry Highbaugh, Cal Murphy (Builder), and Dan Yochum are inducted into the Canadian Football Hall of Fame.
