1991 Edmonton Eskimos
Ron Lancaster is named head coach and leads the club to first in the West Division with a record of 12-6. The Eskimos would lose in the West Final to the Calgary Stampeders. Running back Blake Marshall would score 20 touchdowns, an Edmonton record that still stands and is named the CFL’s Most Outstanding Canadian.
Henry “Gizmo” Williams establishes new records for most punt return yards in a season (1,440), most punt return yards in a game (232) and most punt return touchdowns in a season (5).
Walter Sprague is added to the Wall of Honour and Brian Kelly and Norm Kimball (Builder) are inducted into the Canadian Football Hall of Fame.
