The club would set a CFL record for wins in a season with 16. They would also set then CFL-records for most points (644), most TD’s (70) and yards gained (7,951). Quarterback Tracy Ham was named the CFL’s Most Outstanding player, linebacker Danny Bass was the Most Outstanding defensive player and Rod Connop took home the Most Outstanding offensive lineman. In total, 10 Edmonton players were voted CFL All-Stars.

Edmonton would lose in the West Final to the Saskatchewan Roughriders 32-21.
