The club would finish first in the West with a record of 13-4-1 and clinch their 10th appearance in the Grey Cup in 14 seasons but would lose to the Hamilton Tiger-Cats 39-15 at BC Place. In the regular season quarterback Matt Dunigan threw 25 touchdown passes and Stewart Hill led the defence with 17 sacks.
