Jackie Parker’s squad led by quarterback Matt Dunigan ended the season with a 9-7 record, good for third in the West Division. They would end up falling in the Division semifinal to the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. Matt Dunigan led the charge for the Double E with 3,273 passing yards and 21 touchdowns. Defensively Darryl Hall had 11 interceptions and Stewart Hill added 18 sacks.

Dave Fennell and Frank Morris are added to the Wall of Honour and Billy Zock is inducted into the Canadian Football Hall of Fame.
