The Eskimos would complete the “Five in a Row” as they defeated the Toronto Argonauts 32-16 in the 70th Grey Cup at CNE Stadium in Toronto. Warren Moon (Offence) and Dave Fennell (Defence) would be named Grey Cup MVP’s and James “Quick” Parker wins the Schenley Award as the CFL’s Most Outstanding Defensive Player.

1982 would Hugh Campbell’s last season with Edmonton as he would head South to coach in the USFL and NFL. In his tenure with the Eskimos, Campbell had a regular season record of 81-22-5 for a winning percentage of .773 and went 6-0 in Western Finals and 5-1 in Grey Cups.

Quarterback Tom Wilkinson is the first player added to the clubs Wall of Honour.
