Ray Jauch is named head coach and goes on to be named CFL Coach of the Year after leading the club to second in the CFL’s Western Conference with a 9-7 record. The Green and Gold would lose to the Calgary Stampeders in the Division Semifinal. John Wydareny had 11 interceptions and was named a CFL All- Star for the second consecutive season. Offensively, quarterback Don Trull passed for 2,455 yards and 12 touchdowns.
