The team would finish in fifth place in the CFL’s Western Conference for the second straight season with a record of 2-14. Lynn Amedee passed for 1,352 yards and Tommy Coffey led Edmonton with 1,104 receiving yards. Jim Thomas ran for 605 yards to lead the team and Oscar Kruger had six interceptions. This would mark Eagle Keys last season as head coach in Edmonton after missing the playoffs in back-to-back seasons.
