- Played three seasons for the Saskatchewan Roughriders (2018-19, 2021), suiting up in 15 total games.
- He had brief stints in the NFL with the Washington Commanders (2015), Seattle Seahawks (2016) and Oakland Raiders (2017).
- Collegiately, Cofield played four years at Duke (2011-14). In his senior season, he was named All-Atlantic Coast Conference.
