Marcus Klund
DEFENSIVE BACKS COACH
NEED TO KNOW:
- First season in Edmonton after two seasons in Saskatchewan.
- In his time with Southwest Baptist University, he helped guide SBU to the programs first ever conference championship and NCAA playoff appearance in 2016. Klund coached 47 All-Conference performers and 3 All-American selections during his time at SBU.
- Missouri Sports Hall of Fame / Elite 11 Class of 2021.
- Marcus earned his Bachelor of Arts in Physical Education & Health from Lindenwood University (Mo.) in 2007 and his Master of Arts in Education from Lindenwood University in 2010.
- As a player Klund was a 2-time Team Captain, 4-year starter at safety, 4-time All-Conference, 2-time All-Region, and a 2-time All-American selection for the Lindenwood Lions.
