ABOUT THE ELKS CHEER TEAM

Under the direction of Karen Kondoski, the Elks Cheer Team is a group of 40 talented athletes that dedicate hundreds of hours of training to provide exceptional entertainment for Elks fans.  They volunteer countless hours throughout the year, performing at community events, supporting various organizations and working with youth in the community. Every year they culminate the season with a trip to the Grey Cup where they perform at numerous functions, representing the Edmonton Elks and the City of Edmonton. They are proud of their moniker “The Pride of the CFL” and hope to continue to provide first class entertainment for one of North America’s finest sports clubs. These athletes are proud of their success and love what they do.

Cheer Team Academy
ACADEMY LAUNCHES APRIL 4, 2024 The Edmonton Elks Cheer Team Academy is an elite training program, focusing on co-ed, acrobatic stunting. Athletes in the program receive coaching by Edmonton Elks Stunt Team coaches, and train alongside current members of the team. Through this specialized training, athletes will learn the skills required to become a successful, full-time member, of the Edmonton Elks Stunt Team. Experience Cheer
Every season, the Edmonton Elks Football Club offers fans aged four and up the opportunity to participate in a halftime show performance alongside the Elks Cheer Team, during a home football game at Commonwealth Stadium. Participants attend practices with the cheer team to learn the performance material and rehearse for this exciting show!
