Year-by-Year:

2025: (Edmonton) Dressed in all 18 games. Fajardo assumed the reigns as the Elks starting quarterback in Week 8 against the Saskatchewan Roughriders, throwing for a season high 346 yards. Finished the season with a 6-7 record as a starter, passing for 3,408 yards and 14 touchdowns. His 21 total touchdowns were the most by Fajardo since the 2022 season. Tied the Edmonton record for consecutive completions with 22 in Week 15 against the Toronto Argonauts. (Record shared with Jason Maas vs. Winnipeg in 2004). Eclipsed the 20,000 passing yard mark for his career.

Named to CFL’s PFF Honour Roll in Week 21 against the Stampeders.

2024: Fajardo completed a career-best 73.6 per cent of his passes in 13 games for the Alouettes. The QB added 3,105 passing yards, 16 touchdowns, and a career best 105.6 passer rating to his resume.

2023: Fajardo joined the Montreal Alouettes in Free Agency, leading the team to a 9-7 regular season record. The pivot’s 3,847 passing yards placed fifth in the CFL, while adding 14 passing touchdowns and three rushing touchdowns. Playoffs: Fajardo took his game to another level in the postseason, completing 73 per cent of his passes for 677 yards and six touchdowns — leading the Alouettes to a 3-0 playoff record and winning the 110th Grey Cup. Fajardo was named the Grey Cup Most Outstanding Player for his three touchdown performance.

2022: Appeared in 17 games for the Roughriders, completing 282 of 401 passing (70.3%), while scoring 24 total touchdowns (16 passing, eight rushing). His 3,360 passing yards was good for fifth in the CFL.

2021: Started 13 regular-season games, throwing for 2,970 yards (third in the league) and 14 touchdowns (second in the league). Added 468 yards rushing (seventh in the league) and four touchdowns on the ground (fifth in the league). Started both the West-Semi Final and West Final, adding another 464 yards passing and two touchdowns as well as 110 yards rushing and one touchdown. Named the Roughriders’ Most Outstanding Player.

2020: No season

2019: Fajardo became the starting quarterback for the Saskatchewan Roughriders. He led the league with 4,302 passing yards, threw for 18 touchdowns and added an additional 611 rushing yards and 10 touchdowns.  Fajardo was named a West division All-Star, a CFL All-Star and named the West Division’s Most Outstanding Player.

2018: Signed with the B.C. Lions as a free agent in February 2018 after spending time with the Toronto Argonauts. Fajardo played in 18 regular-season games as a backup quarterback for the B.C. Lions completing 14 of 20 pass attempts for 153 yards and one touchdown.

2017: Dressed for 18 games with the Toronto Argonauts, completing 18 of 30 passes for 154 yards and two touchdowns. In addition, Fajardo carried the ball 59 times for 240 yards and five touchdowns.

2016: Appeared in eight games for the Argonauts, completing 11 of 18 passes for 107 yards and two touchdowns. On the ground, Fajardo scored three touchdowns on 21 carries for 89 yards.
