RUNNING BACKS COACH

Dyce joins the Elks after four seasons with the B.C. Lions working alongside EE Offensive Coordinator Jordan Maksymic. The Winnipeg native had served as the Lions Running Backs coach since 2022 after entering the coaching ranks as an Offensive Assistant with the Lions in 2021. Dyce oversaw a unit that featured 1,000-yard rushers William Stanback (2024) Taquan Mizzell (2023), and James Butler (1,060).

The Elks coach previously attended the university of Manitoba from 2014-2019 where he suited up as a ride receiver for the Bisons. Dyce also has experience in the Canadian Junior Football ranks, having played for the Regina Thunder in 2013 – a season in which he captured Prairie Football conference Rookie of the Year honours and led the Thunder to a Canadian Bowl victory.

Coaching runs in the family for Dyce, whose father Bob Dyce is currently the Head coach of the Ottawa RedBlacks.
