Stephen Sorrells
OFFENSIVE LINE & RUN GAME COORDINATOR
Sorells returns for a third season with the Elks after a campaign in which his offensive line paved the way for the CFL’s most explosive run game. Edmonton’s offensive line paced Canadian Football in a multitude of categories including rushing yards (2,365), yards per carry (6.2), while allowing the fewest sacks (29) in the league.
The veteran coach will be entering his eighth season in the CFL after beginning his Canadian Football League career with the Saskatchewan Roughriders in 2017. He served as the team’s Offensive Line for six years (2017-2022) after over a decade of coaching in the United States.
He is a graduate of Auburn University-Montgomery, where he earned his B.S. in Education & Sports Leadership.
