Danny Nesbitt

DEFENSIVE QUALITY CONTROL COACH

Nesbitt joins the Elks for his first season as a coach in the Canadian Football League, after having worked under Double E President and CEO Chris Morris at the University of Alberta for three seasons. Nesbitt began his career as a linebackers coach in 2022 — coaching a unit that included former Green and Gold linebacker Jake Taylor — before adding the title of Special Teams Coordinator for the final two seasons with the Golden Bears. The Elks coach was also a member of the staff for the 2025 CFL National Combine that ran prospects through the paces in Regina in February.
