Final tryouts for the 14U and Varsity Selects Programs are from November 28-30th, sign up now!

The EE selects program is focused on developing elite football players from across Northern Alberta. Players will be selected through a tryout process, with the season running December through February. Next tryout is November 28 – 30th at Commonwealth Recreation Centre. Run by EE football players & staff, EE Selects players will have access to high-level coaching, film study, U Sports & NCAA recruiting seminars, financial aid opportunities, in-house medical support, and off-field development.

• COACHING: A combination of CFL coaches and players, along with U SPORTS coaches and players will lead the program.
• ELITE COMPETITION: The EE Selects will participate in two travel tournaments each season, competing against teams from Canada, the US, and other countries.
  • Tournaments will take place from January 8-11th in Moose Jaw and February 18-22nd in Monterrey.
• EARNED: Athletes must try out to earn their position on our EE Selects teams. Compete with the very best in the city.
• FINANCIAL AID: We recognize that this program requires families to make a large financial commitment, so we’ve created a scholarship application process. The EE Selects Scholarship Applications are reviewed by a committee and awarded based on need and merit. Application link will be provided after the first try out. The deadline to apply is November 1, 2025.
• PRO MENTORSHIP: Learning from experienced players and coaches from both the pro and university levels, players will benefit from years of insight.
• MEDICAL SUPPORT: Players will receive access to EE athletic therapy supports to ensure they remain healthy and able to compete.
• OFF-FIELD DEVELOPMENT: EE Selects players will also be part of seminars on academics, recruiting, strength and conditioning, nutrition, leadership, and mental conditioning.
