Dust off your cowboy boots and saddle up for a wild night of football and country fun! On Friday, August 15 at 7:00 PM, the Elks take on the Toronto Argonauts at Play Alberta Field at Commonwealth Stadium for our annual Country Night – a fan-favourite celebration of all things western.

This year’s showdown features the 3rd annual EE Bull Riding Competition, toe-tapping country music all night long, and family-friendly fun with a petting zoo and pony rides for the little ones. Whether you’re here for the football, the festivities, or the farm animals, this night is sure to be a barnburner.

Hold on tight as fans and special guests take on the mechanical bull in our third annual EE Bull Riding Competition! This crowd-favourite event brings the excitement of the rodeo to Country Night – a fun and thrilling challenge right at Commonwealth Stadium!

Country Music All Night Long

From the tailgate to the final whistle, enjoy nonstop country hits throughout the stadium. Whether you’re two-stepping or singing along, the soundtrack to Country Night will keep the good times rolling!

Petting Zoo and Pony Rides

Bring the kids down early for hands-on fun with friendly farm animals and pony rides! A family favourite at Country Night, it’s the perfect way to start your game day adventure.

Kick off your game day with a beer, good company, and even better vibes at the brand new EE Beer Garden! Located outside of Gate 2, this 18+ area features a place to enjoy live music, game specific drink deals, and seating areas. This area opens at 2 hours prior to kickoff and is FREE to attend.

BigEE Photo Stop

Say cheese and snap a picture with our new BigEE Photo Stop! Located outside of Gate 2, this sign is the perfect spot to take a memorable picture with fellow Green & Gold friends to commemorate your game day.

There’s no party like a tailgate party! Join us in Lot B, outside of Gate 2 to check out all the fun tailgate activities. From classic tailgating with Green & Gold friends, to the EE Beer Garden, to the RE/MAX Family Picnic, there’s something for everyone! These activities begin 2 hours prior to kickoff and are open to all Elks fans (no ticket required).

The Brick Kids Zone

We’ve got a party just for the kiddos! The Brick Kids Zone is located inside the Commonwealth Fieldhouse and opens 2 hours prior to kickoff at every home game and closes at halftime. All kids and Elks fans are welcome, no ticket is required. This free area is perfect for kids to have a blast before the game!

Clear Bag Policy

Commonwealth Stadium has a no bag policy for all guests attending events at the venue to make entry faster, safer, and easier for everyone. This clear bag policy limits the size and types of bags that can be brought into the stadium. Exceptions to this policy may be made for medical items, or family bags, after proper inspection.
