Project $2M: Pizza Pigout supports KidSport Edmonton

Sport participation promotes the development of children’s social, mental and physical well-being. Kids learn leadership, hard work, dedication, and self-confidence, and build the habits and support network necessary to become healthy adults.

That’s why KidSport Edmonton wants to ensure all youth have opportunity to participate in sport.

KidSport Edmonton works to create equal access to sport programs by supporting children who need financial assistance with sport registration fees.

By increasing access to quality sport programs, KidSport strengthens the community. And it’s the community that provides KidSport its strength.

KidSport’s ‘So ALL Kids Can Play!’ Grant Program is a community-funded fee assistance program that subsidizes sport registration fees for local KidSport kids. Ensuring all kids who dream to run out on the field, jump into a pool, dance across the floor, receive equal access to do just that. Donations can be made online or offline and 100 per cent of funds raised in KidSport Edmonton stay in Edmonton.

Another way the community helps KidSport is through volunteering. Volunteer opportunities are available in a number of essential roles at events and activities throughout the year, ranging from one-off support at fundraising events to strategic positions on KidSport’s Committees.
