Elks sign receiver Jalin Marshall

The Elks receiving room got a little deeper with the addition of American wide receiver Jalin Marshall.

Marshall joins the Elks after spending the last two seasons with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats where he appeared in nine combined games. The Ohio State product initially joined the Ti-Cats in June of 2019, suiting up in eight games as a receiver and return man.

Last season, the 26-year-old native of Middletown, Ohio played once for the Ti-Cats, registering two catches for 20 yards in a Week 1 game against the Winnipeg Blue Bombers.

Marshall brings two seasons of NFL experience to the Green and Gold after signing with the New York Jets as an undrafted free agent in 2016. While with the Jets, Marshall made 14 total receptions including two touchdowns, while also registering 424 return yards.
