Four-year CFL veteran Nakas Onyeka has signed with the Elks, after splitting the 2021 season between Winnipeg and Saskatchewan.
The five-foot-10 linebacker started his CFL career with the Toronto Argonauts, appearing in 36 regular season games with the Boatmen from 2017 to 2019. Onyeka signed with Winnipeg in July of last season, appearing in two games for the Bombers before being released and eventually signing with Saskatchewan. Through 40 career CFL games, the Wilfrid Laurier product has 16 defensive tackles and 31 special teams tackles.
