Tom Cochrane with Red Rider Perform at Halftime On June 14

Canadian music legends Tom Cochrane with Red Rider will perform at halftime on Friday, June 14 when the Edmonton Eskimos take on the Montreal Alouettes for the regular-season home opener. Kickoff is 7 p.m.

Tickets to the game are available now at ticketmaster.ca, starting at $34 (+ taxes and fees).

New this year, the stage will be set in the north endzone, allowing anyone with a ticket to the Sawmill Endzone Party to get up-close-and-personal during live performances. Additionally, a few hundred fans will be randomly selected at stadium gates and through other promotions and contests to watch the “Life is a Highway” singer from field level.

Cochrane will perform following a special halftime retirement acknowledgement for former Esks receiver Fred Stamps. The four-time CFL All-Star signed a one-day contract in early April to officially retire from professional football as a member of the Green and Gold.
