The Edmonton Eskimos added six to the roster during Tuesday’s 2016 CFL Draft:
1st Round, 8th Overall: WR Tevaun Smith
Over a four-year career at the University of Iowa, Tevaun Smith amassed 102 receptions for 1,500 yards and seven touchdowns. The Toronto native scored the longest touchdown of the Iowa Hawkeyes season with an 85-yard reception in the Big Ten Championship. The 6-2, 205-pound Smith was the top-ranked prospect heading into the draft according to the CFL scouting bureau.

2nd Round: 17th Overall: DB Arjen Colquhoun
Colquhoun is a 6-1, 202-pound defensive back out of the University of Michigan. The Windsor, Ontario product recorded 45 tackles in 2015 along with two interceptions in 14 games. His 10 pass break-ups ranked seventh in the Big Ten Conference last season.
5th Round: 44th Overall: DB Josh Woodman
Josh Woodman is a a 6-0, 177-pound defensive back out of Western University. The Chatham, Ontario product accumulated 19 tackles along with an Ontario University Athletics leading five interceptions. Woodman finished 2014 – 2015 season as a CIS Second Team All-Canadian.
6th Round: 53rd Overall: WR Doug Corby
Doug Corby is a 6-3 receiver out of Queens University. The wide receiver amassed 84 receptions for 1,393 yards and 12 touchdowns in his four years with the Golden Gales. Corby caught 30 passes for 592 yards in just five games in 2014-15. He lead all players at the CFL National Combine with a 4.505 second 40-yard-dash time.
7th Round: 61st Overall: LB Doug Parrish
Doug Parrish is a 6-1, 235-pound linebacker out of Western Oregon University. In eight games with the Wolves, Parrish amassed 17 total tackles and one pass break-up.
8th Round: 70th Overall: LB DJ Lalama
